All Natural Tinted Lip Balm

I have been focusing on keeping all chemicals from getting on or in my body!  So I decided to make this lip balm with a tint of color!  Great to use all the time you can add any essential oil you would like but my favorites are lavender and peppermint!

Although the lip balm looks very dark in the picture it is actually just a tint of color! Here’s the recipe!!

2 tblsp Coconut Oil

2 tblsp jojoba oil(you could also use olive oil or avacado oil)

2 tsp shea butter

1 tblsp grated beeswax

1 tsp vitamin E

1/2 tsp essential oil peppermint essential oil (or your choice) Learn how to order essential oils at wholesale prices here!

1-2 tsp Alkanet Root or Hibiscus powder ( if you don’t want a tinted lip balm just leave this out)

Directions:

1. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt coconut oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, and beewax stirring until just melted.

2. Remove from heat.

3. Stir in the vitamin E, essential oils and A lkanet Root powder. Stir until well mixed. Moving quickly (solidifies fast) pour into containers.

4. Let cool or put in refrigerator to hurry this process.

This will make about 4-6 half- ounce containers.  So easy!! And it nourishes your lips instead of putting chemicals on them!!! Always a good thing!
